The Universe Speaks
A dragonfly lands on top of my knee
In the moment I’m having a deeper meaning of me
Scorpio, Libra, and the full moon align
If there was a doubt they told me it’s time
I ask about someone and bring up his name
A truck pulls right up and out the door he came
I know we’re supposed to meet, It weighs on me a ton
It all finally happens as the moon eclipses the sun
I write down that I’m in the right place, and wouldn’t you know
I look down and there’s a dragonfly on my toe
And when I met a mentor of mine, the story would be dope
If when I was washing my hands at his house, there was a dragonfly under his soap
This all really happened, I can’t make this shit up
The more I trust the universe, the more it speaks up
And the more intention and attention I put into the universes way
The more aware I am of what it has to say.
So look around, be open to the magic
The only difference between the people who do and don’t have it
Is the belief that it actually happens
So let go, listen, trust, it’s actually quite fun
And believing in miracles won’t hurt anyone.
There will still be ups and downs, oh you’ll go for a ride
But you’ll go from crawling to walking to taking in stride
If you pay attention, the universe won’t hide
Because the universe speaks and it will always provide.
